What We Do
Gracie’s Place is a sanctuary for stray cats in Clayton, North Carolina. The sanctuary was founded by cat lover Lee Stechmann, who singlehandedly cares for the rescued cats. Above all else, Gracie’s Place prioritizes the safety, health, and happiness of all their cats by providing them with a cozy home, a reliable source of food, necessary vet appointments, and a caring environment.
“How Can I Help?”
Gracie’s Place Cat Sanctuary is a registered 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization, and operates entirely through the generosity of cat lovers. There are countless costs associated with maintaining the sanctuary and caring for these cats, including food, litter, veterinary bills, supplies, and more. If you have a similar love of cats and are able to donate anything at all, Lee and the cats would be most appreciative.
